Other servicesSetting up a PMOSetting up a project management office, assuming the size of your PM community justifies it, is the primary way to support the entire project management function. One of the many roles of a PMO is to ensure consistency and uniformity in the way projects are carried out, which in itself means that it must take responsibility for overseeing the implementation of new practices, processes and use of new tools. ESI can assist you with building a PMO using our extensive experience and first class consultants. MentoringAfter the training is over and the experts gone, why not continue to have the new practices and processes supported by your own mentors, responsible for the on-going support of these to the trained community and cascading them down to all project team members and new staff. ESI has a huge range of advanced training options and can provide a clear development path for those project managers identified as suitable for the mentor role. CoachingThere may be a small number of Project Managers you have earmarked to be the leaders within the PM community, or perhaps to take on the more challenging role of Programme Managers, and wish to provide them with specialised coaching. Alternatively, there might also be some who are not grasping the new PM concepts as quickly as others and who would therefore benefit from additional coaching.
